Shady Customers

Mon, Mar 04, 2019

Plants that thrive in the shade are often overlooked by gardeners as it’s easy to be distracted by showier individuals who need sun to do well. Most gardens have shade in some form or another though, depending on the time of day or time of year, or the particular aspect of the plot. It’s always handy to have a few shade lovers up your sleeve for these spots, so that you’re getting the most out of every inch of space. People of the Tribes: Meet Taran.

Mon, Mar 04, 2019

I am Taran Stakem and I'm a street musician, this is commonly referred to as a busker and this is why I like Galway. What I like about Galway is that is a place where anyone can start playing music and get some attention. I've been busking for three years now and I play guitar flat on my lap, drum it, tap harmonics out of the guitar and I sing. This has certainly given me a unique style and it's paid off as I have gigs coming up at the Tiny Traders Market which is up and running on March 16th.

Far Cry 3: The game that made the series what it is today

Games Reviews Fri, Mar 01, 2019

Far Cry 3 is a game about a guy called Jason who abandons his friends, carves bullets out of his arm with a stick and gets superpowers from tattoos. My favourite part about that sentence was that it was mostly true. The only part that wasn’t mostly true was the superpowers stuff but it's close.
