So the annual feeding frenzy that is the Christmas holidays has finally come to an end as children head back to school and adults back to college or the daily grind. Everyone's belly is a little bit bigger and waistlines have expanded, resulting in good intentions to make a change to a healthier lifestyle for 2020.

However, just because we want rid of those yuletide pounds does not mean we have to deprive ourselves of quality, tasty, food. At Fat Freddy's Restaurant, punters can delight themselves with a healthy and happy meal to brighten up their moods in a damp, dreary, January as they begin the long journey to those summer bods in five months' time.

All of these are important to me, a source of joy to me, parts of the fabric that make up this city I am proud to live in.

He did piano repairs and his daughter was an opera singer. He worked from a shed at the back of the house.
