Cúirt New Writing Prize 2012

THE CÚIRT International Festival of Literature is seeking submissions for Cúirt New Writing Prize 2012.

There are two categories this year: poetry and fiction. There will be a cash prize of €500 given to the winner of each category. The two winners will also have the chance to read during Cúirt at the Cúirt/Over the Edge Showcase on Wednesday April 25.

Bernadette was awarded a masters’ in somatic psychology/dance movement therapy from Naropa University Boulder Colorado in 2002. From 2008 to 2010 she was dance artist in residence with the Galway City Council.

Galway Peace Proms take place next month

Peneleapaí sings original and traditional songs as Gaeilge and in English. She also plays fiddle and guitar. Miriam Donohue is a singer/songwriter, based in Galway city. She is currently working on her debut album which will be released later this year.
