Cian Finn - Irish reggae man @ The Loft

CIAN FINN, a leading exponent of reggae in Ireland, will perform songs from his debut solo album, This Applies, when he plays The Loft at Seven, Bridge Street, this Saturday at 11pm.

The former Intinn front man mixes Irish and Jamaican musical styles and blends the vintage with the contemporary to create a unique Celtic/Dancehall style of reggae. The album, which came out in October, was produced by Prince Fatty, and recorded with respected reggae musicians Horseman, Black Steel, Digistep (Dubkasm ), and Leroy Horns (Roots Garden/Resonators ). It features guest vocals by Hollie Cooke, Dub Judah, and Cian duetting with Max Romeo on the title track.

Cian performed his music across the world, has worked with producer Radikal Guru, and worked and performed live with dub legends such as Alpha and Omega, Iration Steppas, Alpha Steppa, Mungos Hi-Fi, Dougie Conscious, Mad Professor, and Zion Train.
