New Computer Driving Licence course with GRETB Training Centre

GRETB Training Centre is now offering a fully funded International Computer Driving Licence course (ICDL ), formerly ECDL. This course starts November 15 and runs for 20 weeks, which includes four weeks work placement.

The tutor-led course provides you with the skills, knowledge, and competencies to use a wide range of software applications on a computer and achieve a worldwide recognised qualification in computing. ICDL (rebranded ECDL ) provides a practical programme of up-to-date skills and knowledge areas which are validated by exams.

The ICDL course is scheduled to run from Monday to Friday. The course includes a work placement module. Work placement can be in any office situation where learners get the opportunity to develop their practical skills. This has proven invaluable for attaining employment at the end of the programme.

You can source employment in a range of clerical/administrative positions in both the IT and other sectors. The certification to use devices and tools confidently and productively is an effective way for learners to set themselves apart. A sizeable number of past learners are working in various office settings, reception areas, etc.

The ICDL certified course modules are: Computer essentials, online essentials, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation skills, using databases, and IT security.
