New Dacia model revealed

Dacia has unveiled its new Striker estate model.
Full details on the model won't be made known until June, but the brand has said the new Striker will be available as a hybrid, a 4x4 hybrid, and LPG-powered. It has also revealed that the new model is 4.62-metres in length, which makes it longer than the Bigster SUV it is based on.

A new report by Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland (MIBI) has revealed a total of 19,673 vehicles were seized by An Garda Síochána for being driven without insurance in 2025.
The Irish Motor Insurance Database (IMID) Annual Report 2025 shows that the Gardaí have now detained a total of 38,546 vehicles for breaking the law by driving without insurance in the first 24 months since they began using the new insurance database.
