An all-new model in its own right
The Toyota C-HR+ brings striking design, dynamic performance and zero-emission driving together in a groundbreaking new battery electric vehicle (BEV ). Although inspired by the Toyota C-HR, the Toyota C-HR+ is unequivocally an individual model.
It is built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA battery electric vehicle philosophy and has a unique design, with more space included throughout.
Stunning styling
The Toyota C-HR+ presents a clean appearance that is fundamentally simple yet has a strong emotional quality to appeal to both the heart and mind. In the front three-quarter view, the clean and modern styling clearly identifies it as a contemporary Toyota battery electric vehicle.
At the same time, the wide stance conveys the kind of dynamic drive associated with the Toyota C-HR. The front bumper, grille, and headlight designs are all exclusive to the model, while the sleek coupe-crossover silhouette is both distinctive and aero-efficient. Notably, the coupe roofline is achieved without compromising headroom for rear seat passengers.
The look is equally distinctive at the rear, with a wide stance and sophisticated full-LED rear combination lights. The steep angle of the rear window and neatly integrated spoiler add further emphasis to the dynamic appearance.
Generous interior space
Despite its sporty character, the Toyota C-HR+ delivers the practicality expected of a C-SUV, combining smart packaging with a modern, streamlined interior enhanced by ambient lighting.
Measuring 4,530mm in length with a 2,750mm wheelbase, it offers generous headroom and cabin space that surpasses typical expectations in the segment, along with excellent all-round visibility. Everyday versatility is further supported by 416 litres of luggage capacity, ensuring comfort and convenience remain central to its dynamic design.
Inside, a refined cabin pairs premium finishes with intuitive technology. A 14-inch multimedia display is standard across the range, incorporating navigation with intelligent EV journey planning that factors in battery charge and available range to suggest convenient charging stops. Whether commuting or travelling longer distances, the system helps drivers plan with confidence.
The navigation system includes a dedicated EV journey planning function that calculates routes with convenient charging station options according to the car’s state of battery charge and available driving range.
Power and performance
Toyota will offer the 77kWh (gross capacity ) battery option in Ireland. The maximum range, according to the WLTP drive cycle, is up to 606km, depending on grade and powertrain.
The output for the front-wheel drive model with the 77kWh battery is 224 DIN hp/165kW.
Customers will appreciate a new battery pre-conditioning feature that will improve charging performance in most conditions. Further benefits are gained from an energy-saving heat pump for the air conditioning system and heated seats, steering wheel, and windscreen.
Technologies for safety and connectivity
The Toyota C-HR+ benefits from extensive Toyota T-Mate features, including Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance systems. A few advanced features are provided as standard, including a Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive High-Beam System Headlights and Parking Support Brake.
Park Assist and a Panoramic View Monitor are included in the Premier grade specification.
Using the MyToyota app allows owners to monitor and manage key aspects of their vehicle, including climate control, charging status, charging time, driving range and usage data.
Ownership peace of mind
Customers, particularly those purchasing a battery electric vehicle for the first time, can be assured that the Toyota C-HR+ has all the quality, durability and reliability that are a hallmark of the brand. This is reflected in the Toyota EV Battery Extended Care Programme, which covers the battery each year for up to 10 years of vehicle age or up to one million kilometres driven, subject to an annual battery health check.
