Galway company West Coast Insulation offers €1,000 grant package

With the Government grant still in place, West Coast Insulation is recommending homeowners take advantage of the new grant scheme which is now the highest level it has ever been at €1,000. Homeowners can contact the Galway company for a free quotation for cavity wall and attic insulation. The grant will cover a large percentage of the costs of the work, and when ordering with West Coast Insulation, the grant comes straight off the price. Furthermore West Coast Insulation, which has been in business since 2009, will look after all application forms to make the process as simple as possible for homeowners.

The increase in grant from €650 to €1,000 is only available to customers of Kingspan, for which West Coast Insulation is an official installer. The new package, delivered by West Coast Insulation and suppliers Kingspan EcoBead, makes insulating your home more attractive than ever.

Majority of homes are not prepared for seasonal risks

More than three quarters of Irish people (77 per cent) will deck their homes out in festive decorations this Christmas. However, despite the great efforts that people go to in preparing their homes for Christmas, the majority (61 per cent) will take no steps to protect their home against risks such as chimney fires, electrical faults, or boiler breakdown. That is according to Aviva Home Insurance, which released the findings of its latest research this week.
