Pornstar Martini
The Pornstar Martini was invented by a South African, Douglas Ankrah, who worked in LAB Bar in Soho, London. This drink is considered a modern classic. Tribeton adds its own twist to the original recipe by adding mango vodka and replacing the pineapple with orange juice. The idea is to eat the garnish of passionfruit first, then drink the prosecco shot, and then enjoy the lavish Pornstar Martini. We hope you enjoy and don’t forget this cocktail is only €5 this Friday from 5pm.

This club has been a source of guidance and inspiration to the youth of Galway, especially those of working class background, since its foundation by Fr Leonard Shiel SJ, a priest of great vision, in 1940. Indeed this wonderful structure owes a great debt to the Jesuit Order. Since the beginning the club has been based behind the Columban Hall in Sea Road. From the first nervous day of membership, right through their teens, and even in adult life, the spirit and ever watchful eye of the club is with the boys.

Consumers hit with price increases when booking holidays online

The European Consumer Centre Network (ECC-Net) has called for consumers to be aware that when they are booking holidays online the initial price indicated is not always the final price, and to take measures to avoid surprises.

The warning comes after ECC-Net launched its report, Online Holiday Booking: Is the initial price the final price? The report revealed that EU consumers are often surprised by price increases — caused in a majority of cases by extra fees — that occur between the initial price quoted and the final price at the payment stage of the booking process.
