The annual Galway Technical Institute (GTI) open day will take place on Tuesday March 5 from 10am to 4pm. The open day is an opportunity to explore the GTI campus, find out about the exciting courses on offer, and participate in lively events throughout the college. GTI welcomes both school leavers and mature learners who wish to retrain or upskill.
Open day activities and talks are arranged to demonstrate how learning takes place at GTI. Prospective students will be able to chat with current students and teachers about the different courses on offer within each department and get a genuine sense of what makes GTI such a success. The college uses a learning-by-doing approach that moves learners from the classroom and into real world experiences.
