According to Nialler9, Dubliner Marcus has been called “the Godfather of DFA Records”, influencing the foundation of the label which was started by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. MAKING ITS first visit to Ireland, The Russian Theatre-Studio from Budapest are in the Town Hall Theatre on Thursday September 20 with Doctor Chekhov, which combines a number of Chekhov’s stories into a compelling play. The production will be performed in Russian, with English surtitles.

The Russian Theatre-Studio was founded in Budapest in 1997 by actress, teacher, and director, Zinaida Zikherman-Sokolova, who united actors of various nationalities all driven by their love for the theatre and Russian culture.
