IT IS one of the highlights of the Vodafone Comedy Carnival. It is one of the festival's must see shows. It is where the comedians take to the stage for an unscripted, edge of the seat set, featuring some of their darkest material.
This is the Late Night KARLnival, hosted by the great Karl Spain, which takes place over three days, in The Red Box, Eyre Square, from 9.45pm. The line up is Al Porter, Milton Jones, Joe DeRosa, Paul Currie, John Colleary, and Lords Of Strut (tomorrow, Friday October 27 ); Abandoman, Tom Stade, Spencer Jones, Glenn Wool, Waterford Whispers News, and more (Saturday 28 ); and Tommy Tiernan, Jason Manford, Foil Arms & Hog, Tom Rhodes, Chris Kent, and others (Sunday 29 ).
Karl, who recently appeared in Operation Transformation, is possibly the most in-demand MC in the country. This late night show generally fills up quickly and is not for the faint-hearted. Get there early.
Karl will also round off the festival by hosting the Best Of The Fest in The Red Box, on Bank Holiday Monday at 7.30pm. See www.vodafonecomedycarnival.com
