Karl Spain to play Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

Comedian and Operation Transformation star live brings stand-up show to Galway

KARL SPAIN, a recent star of RTÉ’s Operation Transformation, who has delighted comedy audiences for years with his razor sharp wit and sense of mischief, plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow from 9pm.

Karl first came to wide attention with his 2005 RTÉ TV series, Karl Spain Wants A Woman. It was a huge success, he found himself a woman and he is still with her 11 years later. He has featured in many Irish TV shows, played at loads of festivals, hosted shows for the best comedians in the world, and even wrote a panto with Al Porter! Karl will also be performing over the Vodafone Comedy Carnival next week, hosting the brilliant Late Night Karlnival - where anything can happen...

Support is from Cork's Paul Crowley who, according to Hot Press, "operates in a gentle, self deprecatory, way and impresses".

The MC will be Steve Bennett. Admission is €8 in advance and €10 on the door from the Róisín Dubh; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street, and www.roisindubh.net
