REBEL SONGS and Irish roots music will be heard loud and proud when Galway band The Uncurables play Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Thursday December 18.
The band are Dave Connaughton (percussion ), Derick Cronin (bass/vocals ), Paul Mulligan (guitar/vocals ), Michael Casey (guitar/banjo/vocals ), Odie Lynch (guitar, harmonica/whistle/vocals ).
Currently working on their debut album, the band cite The Pogues, Dubliners, The Wolftones, Dropkick Murphys, The Waterboys, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Steve Earl as influences. Next year will see them tour Britain, Russia, and Germany.
