THE POET Stephen Murray will hold poetry master classes for adults and children at the Galway Arts Centre this month.
Murray’s scratch poetry master classes are for writers of all ages and abilities. Students are asked to leave all previous work behind and write at least one poem from scratch during the session. The emphasis is on writing for fun while unearthing and articulating the creative unconscious.
Workshops take place on Saturday August 17 and 24. Adult master classes are two and half hours and cost €20 for adults, while the children’s classes lasts two hours and costs €15.
