Alabama 3 - unplugged in Galway

ALABAMA 3 have been called many things - pop band, punk rock, blues and country, a techno situationist crypto-Marxist-Leninist electro band.

They are also known for ‘Woke Up This Morning’, the theme song for the now classic TV series The Sopranos, while for Galway audiences, a band that has made coming to the city a regular pilgrimage.

Alabama 3 play an ‘unplugged’ show at the Róisín Dubh this Sunday at 8pm. It is the people they meet while touring that keeps bringing them back to certain places:

“We’ve got into a whole bunch of trouble and met a whole bunch of nice people. We make friends where ever we go,” the band have said.

In return, Alabama 3 want audiences to “ feel good...Maybe you’ve done some good things in your life, maybe you've done some bad things. We forgive you. Forgive yourself. Then dress up real sexy and come and party with us sometime.”

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
