The best way to discover Italy is through its language. Holidaying in Italy becomes a uniquely enriching experience when you can order your cappuccino or your pasta al vongole in Italian. You experience the warmth of the Italian people who are always keen to give local information.
Lingua School of Language and Culture is offering a new holiday Italian evening course (6.30pm to 8.30pm ) from January 16 in a centrally located school in Galway city. The 12-week course prepares you for a range of situations you encounter while holidaying in Italy.
Each week focuses on a specific topic and students improve their comprehension and communication through games and role-play. Throughout the course, you will be introduced to aspects of contemporary Italian society and culture.
For more advanced level students, the school is running a practical language course which focuses on the practical use of prior learning and is aimed at students with a solid grammatical foundation who are lacking spoken fluency. Students will benefit from the occasional language class to ensure an appropriate level of linguistic grounding but the main focus of the class is to improve students’ conversation skills.
