The summer months offer a marvellous opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to consolidate and advance their academic skills with the Kumon maths or English programmes. A free diagnostic test establishes the “just right” start point for the student and an individualised study programme for just 20 minutes daily enables the student to develop at his/her own individual pace in the subject of choice.

Kumon offers a year round study programme which focuses initially on establishing a robust foundation and critical study skills, enabling the committed student to develop as an independent learner with the possibility of advancing far beyond his/her school stage.

Kumon recognises the accomplishments of such students awarding a bronze medal to students who are studying six months or more ahead of the international standard for their age. Silver medals are awarded to those studying two years or more ahead of their age, and gold medals are presented to those studying three or more years ahead of their age. Framed “Completer” certificates are awarded to those who study to the end of their subject material, developing university entry level techniques.

If your family can commit to 20 minutes of daily study and would like to know more about the Kumon programme, with the possibility of a one week free trial, contact Denise Heneghan, instructor, at 086 8285780 or email [email protected].
