Kumon maths and English programmes are completely individualised, year round programmes which offer the possibility of using the summer months productively. Students who study for approximately 20 minutes daily develop according to their individual abilities and find themselves, over time, advancing steadily, often far beyond their age.

Each student commences at his/her “just right” start point, established by a free diagnostic test. This is the point at which the student can work with ease, speed, and accuracy. At this level students can develop excellent study skills and the discipline of a small amount of daily work. The initial focus of the student study plan is to establish a robust academic foundation supported by superior work skills. Then the student advances step by step through meticulously developed worksheets, repeated, as necessary for mastery, past his/her school level, and often years ahead of their age.

Kumon Galway City West celebrates the achievements of its students, awarding certificates for level achievement, bronze medals for students working six months or more ahead of their age, silver medals for those working two or more years ahead of their age, and gold medals for those working three or more years ahead. Framed completer certificates are awarded to those who finish the maths or English programme (to university entry level ).

If your student can commit to approximately 20 minutes of daily study and you would like to discover his/her potential in maths or English, contact Denise Heneghan at 086 8285780 or email [email protected].
