Galway singer-songwriter's new video to create awareness for, and to coincide with, Suicide Prevention Week 2019

ECHO HARTE, the Galway singer-songwriter, will record a video for his new single 'Sun Don’t Rise' on Sunday September 8. Shooting takes place between 12 noon and 6pm, and extras are sought to appear in the video.

The video is being made to create awareness for, and to be released to coincide with, Suicide Prevention Week 2019 (October 7 to 13 ). Participants in the video will have a close up shot of them holding a message/lyric on a sheet of paper to the camera.

Shooting takes place in the Forster Court Estate. The shot will take c10-15 minutes for each person. All are welcome. There is no specific age requirement, and no experience is necessary. The event is weather pending as shooting will take place outside. In advance of the shooting check Facebook.

"'Sun Don’t Rise' is about the importance of speaking your mind when you feel alone and talking to people when we fall into dark places," said Echo. "The song is honest and holds an important message. It was inspired by a young man I knew from Tuam who took his own life a few years ago and I wrote it with him in mind."
