Keith Duffy and his Fair City colleagues are set to take part in the 2009 Croagh Patrick Challenge on Sunday March 15 in aid of Irish Autism Action (IAA ). The Croagh Patrick 7 Day Challenge takes place from March 11 to March 17 in a bid to raise much needed funds for Mayo Autism and Irish Autism Action.

A number of well known Irish personalities including Enda Kenny TD, Aidan Cooney, Mick Flavin, Beverley Flynn TD, Patrick Feeney, James Kilbane, John McNicholl, Aaron McHale, Gareth McHale, Fr Brian D'Arcy, Michael Ring TD, John O’Mahoney TD, Councillor Kevin Guithre (Mayor of Castlebar ), Barbara Ni Donnacha, Dave O’Connor, Barbara Nic Donnacha, and Mary McGill are all taking part in the challenge for IAA.

Scaling the mountain seven days in a row may be a bit much for some, so the organisers are encouraging all ages and abilities to give the climb a try for fun. For further information and registration details log onto www.croaghpatrickchallenge.com or call Pat Kearns on 087 760 7411.
