Five Galway teams, Corofin, Tuam Stars, Milltown, Kilkerrin Clonberne and Caherlistrane, will be aiming for All-Ireland honours at the 42nd FBD All-Ireland Senior Football Sevens at Kilmacud Crokes in Dublin on Saturday.
Corofin will be aiming to retain the title they won last year, and are placed in Group 5 along with Errigal Ciaran of Tyrone, St Laurences of Kildare, and Waterford's Clashmore.

Galway rugby clubs return to Ulster Bank League action on Saturday with both Galwegians and Corinthians competing in division 1B, alongside fellow Connacht rivals Buccaneers.
Galwegians are the new boys in the division this year, having topped the division 2A table with just one defeat to win promotion last season, and they will be looking to consolidate their position among some of the bigger names in Irish club rugby.
