The team has two massive division two league games coming up against Fermanagh (March 27 at Tuam Stadium) and Cavan (April 3 at Breffni Park), and two wins in those games would see Galway promoted to Division One for 2017.

Galway team manager Kevin Walsh was pleased with Sunday’s display, but knows his side needs to follow up that success with another big performance against a Meath side that after two consecutive defeats will be targeting a win to avoid relegation trouble.
