The Galway City Council’s Galway Transportation Unit and Mayor of Galway Hildegarde Naughton will launch the service on Tuesday at 10am.

The United Nation’s Universal Children’s Day takes place this Sunday and will be marked in Galway with a series of events in the Sahaj Marg Meditation Centre.

The event is open to the public and begins at 10.30am. It will include a non-denominational prayer-meditation, as well as a programme devoted to promoting the welfare of the children of the world.
