Hundreds of bloggers are gathering in Galway this weekend for a major networking event organised by Into The West Blogger Network (ITWBN)

The world of blogging is alive and kicking in Galway. Two local bloggers have joined forces to create a networking platform for those with a passion for the rapidly growing industry. Into The West Blogger Network was founded in April 2014 by Sinead Carroll, Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger (www.yummymummy.eu.com). Soon after Saibh Egan, Photographer (www.saibhegan.com) teamed upwith Sin?ad and the network has grown from strength to strength over the last nine months with three extremely successful events to date.

Mountbellew Agricultural College takes top prize at Macra Challenge Day

Students from each of the agriculture and forestry courses in Mountbellew Agricultural College participated in the recent annual Colleges Challenge Day, held in conjunction with Macra na Feirme and hosted in Mountbellew Agricultural College.

A total of seven competitions ran simultaneously in the afternoon; all were specialist skills competitions including stock judging, tractor driving, welding, plant identification, grafting, forestry skills, and a problem solving team challenge.
