Hundreds of Cookes from around the world are expected to descend on Galway for the Cooke Family Gathering which will be taking place in the Ardilaun Hotel from Friday October 4 to Sunday October 6.

Through DNA testing the organisers of this event now know how far the Cooke family tree extends. The Cooke surname can be found in many corners of not only Galway and Ireland but all over the world. Family members have emigrated to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, many of whom will be at the gathering.
