G Conboy Electrical, a Galway institution, is remaining open during the current Level 5 restrictions and is offering a call out service to repair appliances. Its New Road location is open for business, providing a walk-in service for clients' home appliances, and has a large supply of spare parts including elements, pumps, motors, and belts. Manager Jacqui Conboy says the staff are looking forward to seeing their regular and new customers.

Ryanair has announced it will suspend flight operations from Ireland West Airport and the other regional airports from Saturday November 14 until Sunday December 13. The airline has said the suspension of flight services is due to a collapse in travel demand as a result of the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current travel restrictions in place.

Aoife Ni Eochaidh, chartered physiotherapist, provides face to face, phone, and video call physiotherapy for pelvic floor muscle treatment for bladder and bowel incontinence from her clinic in Suite 14, Bon Secours Consultant Clinic in Renmore. She also treats sexual dysfunction, prolapse, post-natal pelvic conditions, and osteoporosis. People can choose to have their pelvic physiotherapy consultation by regular phone call, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc, or to attend in person. Patients can get a referral from their GP or self-refer.
Most Irish health insurance companies provide some cover for pelvic physiotherapy and, if needed, also they provide some cover for pelvic physiotherapy electrotherapy devices. On September 22, 1920, 12 Black and Tans burst into the Old Malt Pub on High Street, breaking down the door and rushing upstairs to where Mícheál Walsh’s wife and children were sleeping. They demanded to know Mícheál’s whereabouts and then they searched the building, firing shots, exploding grenades, terrifying the children, and causing extensive damage to the property. They also broke open the safe and stole its contents, as well as taking money from the till in the bar. Clothing, alcohol, and tobacco were also stolen during the raid. The taps were opened on the barrels and then doors, cabinets, and furniture was smashed. The damage was estimated at £1,000.
