Zombies mainmen Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone (pictured) play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday at 9pm. They will perform songs from The Zombies’ classic 1968 album Odessey & Oracle, Zombies’ hits like ‘She’s Not There’, Blunstone’s solo hits, classic songs by Rod’s 1970s band Argent, and material from the albums arising from the duo’s recent collaborations. Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.

MORE THAN 20 speech level singing voice students from the Galway Voice Studios will be performing in The Quays on Sunday at 5pm.
The performers will range from all ages and will be singing songs by Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, etc, with The Weightless Astronauts.

Ireland’s most controversial comedian David McSavage (pictures) headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* tomorrow. No other comic in Ireland divides public opinion quite like the unflappable McSavage. JOHN SIKOWSKI, a leading exponent of Scottish traditional dance, will be the featured dance teacher at the all-day jig workshop at the Féile Chóilín Sheáin Dharachin Ros Muc.
The workshop will take place in Colaiste Cuimhneachán An Phiasaigh across from the post office in the centre of Ros Muc on Saturday January 31 at 10am. At 4pm there will be an open dancing on the half-door and barrel exhibition in Pub Tigh Mhaidhcó.

This gritty drama centres around the life of a retired professional wrestler who is no longer the big star he once was. Plagued with old and new injuries, a sense of failure, and plenty of regrets we watch as he tries to eke out a living at small-time wrestling shows held in front of a few crazy diehard fans in high school gyms and community centres for just a few bucks.
