JACK BEATS, the duo of ex-Scratch Pervert, Plus-One, and ‘mixologist’ Ben Geffen/Beni G play The Electric Garden on Thursday December 13.
Influenced by everything from Timbaland to A Guy called Gerald, their sets are a cross between dub-step and distorted, floor filling, electro house. The pair currently have a mini LP out, Careless, which has been championed by BBC Radio 1’s Kissy Sell-Out. They have also remixed for Example, Fake Blood, and Skream.

PHANTOM DOG Beneath The Moon, the avant garde folk rock/shoegaze band centred around Galway born singer-songwriter Aaron Hurley, will feature in two different shows during the TULCA festival.
Phantom Dog’s music will be featured in Aughty, a new, feature length, experimental documentary by the artists Megs Morley and Tom Flanagan. The film explores the Aughty Mountain area in south Galway and the people who live there.
