1916 AND All That is a new book by Galwegian Ciara Boylan, which takes a comic look at Irish history.
Ciara, who is a graduate of NUI Galway and has worked in the National Library of Ireland, was inspired by WC Sellar and RJ Yeatman’s famous 1930 satirical history 1066 And All That, to create an equivalent book for Ireland.

Now Dave is coming to Monroe’s Live this evening at 7.30pm where he will perform his show BOLD, where he will discuss sex, marriage, the afterlife, and 100 years of Irish Culture in 100 minutes. He has appeared on The Late Late Show and produced four live DVDs and two albums.

TOMORROW NIGHT sees the launch of a new dance club, Klub Orange, in the Townhouse Bar on Spanish Parade.
The club opens its doors at 10pm and to mark its opening night there will be three DJs, visuals, food, and 20 per cent of profits on the night will be donated to the Galway Rape Crisis Centre. There will be spot prizes. The club will also have a chill room.
