The Hope Foundation fundraising concert tonight @ Monroe’s Live

TONIGHT FROM 9pm, Monroe’s Live will host a major fundraising concert for The Hope Foundation, the charity which works for street children in Calcutta.

The night will see live music from Cars Love Girls, Zero Era, and Take the Stand, 24 Broken Amps, Ignition Kid, and Capital Joy. There will also be a raffle and an auction of signed Connacht Rugby and Galway Gaelic Football jerseys. The NUI Galway Film Society will also host a confession camera on the night.

LATIN AMERICAN, Malaysian, African, and Balkan styles of music will be the order of the day at The Havana Way night in Monroe’s Live on Friday May 11 at 9pm.

Performing on the night will be Baque Soul who play Brazilian soul-funk and samba, Latin grooves, and hip-hop. They are fronted by Mexican vocalist Susana Garcia and Brazilian street poet Juliana Duraes. The intensity of their live shows has earned them a reputation as a must see band.
