MAJELLA DOWDICAN, an honours degree graduate in fine art from the GMIT, has been appointed as the new artist in residence at the Galway Arts Centre in Dominick Street.
This residency has been made possible by the Galway city and county arts offices and the Galway Arts Centre. The artist will be moving into her studio space, located in the centre.

There will also be a cake sale, raffle, and a performance of traditional dance from Peru. The concert is organised by Atlantic Language Galway in collaboration with 8 Cafe.
