CHILDREN’S THEATRE school, Stagecoach Galway, will host its summer term and summer camp workshops and classes in St Mary’s College.
The school trains four to 17-year-olds in professional dance, drama, and singing. The summer term runs from this Saturday for three hours each week from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Parents can avail of a two week trial on a €35 or €70 deposit before enrolling for the 11 week term to June 30. The morning school is currently full. Stagecoach Galway will also hold a summer camp from July 16 to 20 at St Mary’s.

GET UP, Stand up, the weekly stand up comedy open mic night at Garvey’s Hotel and Bar, Eyre Square, takes place tonight from 9.30pm.
The show is open to the public and comedians, and admission is free. Every week there is a lively crowd and a load of up and coming comedians performing. Each comedian is allowed seven to eight minutes for his/her set.
