For the second year running, the Irish Comedian of the Year final will be held at the Vodafone Comedy Carnival.
Some 100 comedians will be whittled down during a series of preliminary heats until only the very finest remain. They will then battle it out to win a cash prize and a fabulous once in a lifetime trip to Australia to perform at the Fringe festivals in Perth and Adelaide.
The grand final will be held on Monday October 30 in the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent as part of the Vodafone Comedy Carnival.
It will be hosted by the irrepressible Today FM star Al Porter, when one glorious winner will walk away with a cheque just slightly bigger than his/her ego, a ticket to Oz, and the most coveted title in new Irish Comedy.
Doors open at 3pm, with the show at 3.30pm.
Tickets are available from vodafonecomedycarnival.com and are priced at €15.
