The long-standing Galway linen supply company known variously over the years as the Connaught Laundry; Connacht and Court; the Linen Supply of Ireland, and most recenty CWS-National Linen has changed its name.
From last Monday, the company textile rental and washroom hygiene solutions which has a massive plant at Knocknacarra and which formerly was based at Henry Street, will be known as CWS-boco.
CWS-boco is a brand of the German based Haniel Group, an International company operating in more than 40 countries worldwide.
“This change of name allows us to benefit and profit from the strength of this established brand, with long traditions and strong expertise throughout Europe and beyond. The change of name also reflects and confirms our continuous ambition to be Irelands’ leading supplier in our market” states Julie Mc Minn, CWS–boco market manager.
‘We look forward to working closely with all our staff to deliver on this commitment. As CWS-boco, we remain committed to the high standards of quality, the philosophy and the values associated with CWS-National Linen, offering customers a complete tailored solution for linen rental, washroom hygiene, workwear rental, dust control mat rental, sterile surgical supplies, and cleanroom supplies,” continued Ms Mc Minn
Andrzej Smolko, CEO of CWS-boco Ireland believes this is an exciting period for the 600 staff and 5,000 customers as it commits to expand and develop its operations in Ireland.
With a most recent annual turnover of €47.08 million, Mr Smolko said the aim of 2009 is to continue to “grow both internally and externally, the power of this reputable brand will allow us and all the staff to remain very positive and upbeat in a time of negativity in Ireland.”
A prime example of the group’s innovative commitment and growth in the Irish market is their new revolutionary Paradise Line range of washroom dispensers. A first for bathroom dispenser systems such as towel, soap, and fragrance dispensers, the new and exclusive Paradise Line from CWS-boco can be provided in a variety of colours.
The major highlight of the collection is the individuality factor. Dispensers can have fully customized front covers that can provide unique advertising and corporate communications opportunities. Thus they become an entire new means of communication and offer unique advertising space.
