For lovers of all things sweet, Sheena Dignam, who runs the Galway food tour Around the Market Place, is holding a special Pastry Food Tour visiting a selection of the best bakeries and cake shops in town as part of Galway Bake Fest.

In conjunction with Galway Bake Fest 2015, Sheena Dignam will be leading a limited number of very lucky people and introducing them to the history behind Galway’s best loved bakeries and pastry shops. They will be sampling delightful bites from Taste Cafe to Griffins, Goyas to Petit Delice, and Cupán Tae to Danny’s Doughnuts. They will also be indulging themselves in some of Kai Café’s renowned pastries, as well as a glass of bubbles in Tigh Neachtain. The tour starts at 11.30am on Saturday October 17 and 12 noon on Sunday October 18, and will last for about one and a half to two hours.
