New Tom Stoppard play @ The Eye

TOM STOPPARD’s new play The Hard Problem is running in the National Theatre London, but Galway can see it via a live broadcast to The Eye Cinema.

The Hard Problem, which marks Stoppard’s return of to the National Theatre, is directed by Nicholas Hytner, and will be shown this evening [April 16] at 7pm. Hilary, a psychology researcher at a brain science institute, is pondering a troubling question where psychology and biology meet - if there is nothing but matter, what is consciousness? This is ‘the hard problem’ which puts her at odds with her mentor Spike, her boss Leo, and institute founder Jerry. Hilary needs a miracle, and she is prepared to pray for one.
