The electro-dub of Dreadzone

Electro-dub pioneers to play the Róisín Dubh

ELECTRO-DUB pioneers Dreadzone play the Róisín Dubh on Friday September 26 at 9pm, performing material from across their 21 year career.

The band was formed in 1993 and consisted of two former members of Mick Jones post-Clash band Big Audio Dynamite - Greg Roberts and Dan Donovan. Continuing the connection with The Clash guitarist, the band’s most recent album, Escapades, was recorded at Mick Jones’ London studios and co-produced by original Dreadzone member and co-founder Tim Bran. Those looking to get a overview of the Dreadzone sound can check out the 2011 compilation The Good, The Bad And The Dread.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
