Galway girl qualifies for US dressage champs

Galway’s Shauna Finneran, pictured with Vito, has qualified for the national dressage championships in the USA which take place in Saugerties, New York, this week. She also has qualified for the New England Dressage Association Regional championships at the same venue.

From Cloonacauneen in Claregalway, Shauna Finneran is currently barn manager at Foster Meadows in New Hampshire for dressage trainer Pam Goodrich. She qualified for the u-25 finals riding Jennifer Huber's Horse, Vito, a 12-year-old KPWN gelding.

She is the first and only Irish rider to compete at these championships.
