JP’s Steak House, Mullingar — offering flavour and quality

JP’s Steak House Mullingar has announced the appointment of new head chef Aaron O’Neill. A seasoned graduate of Athlone Institute of Technology, chef O’Neill brings a wide variety of new culinary delights to menus at JP’s Steak House.

Since launching in 2011 JP’s has become one of Westmeath’s top restaurants, and has been awarded Certificates of Excellence by TripAdvisor in 2012 and 2013.

The restaurant offers a varied menu including authentic thin base Italian pizza, lamb, seafood, and poultry dishes, but of course JP’s Steak House is best known for its wonderful range of steak including the very popular steak on stone, a delightful way to enjoy cooking your steak just as you like at your table on a hot lava stone at 340 degrees. The chargrill flavours are complemented by an excellent selection of wines, hand-picked by a professional connoisseur, but cost-conscious patrons can also bring their own wine (Sunday to Thursday ) for a modest corkage.

JP’s sources all of its produce locally where possible and prides itself on using only the freshest ingredients.

The spacious and inviting surroundings of JP’s Steak House also make it the perfect venue for special occasion dining with seating for up to 64 people comfortably. JP’s also caters for corporate, stag, and hen parties, lunches, family dinners, and more. A midweek early bird menu is available from Monday to Thursday for €16.95, or three courses for €19.95 which also includes a succulent 10oz sirloin steak representing superb value for money. Starters include such favourites as golden stuffed beer batter mushrooms and smoked chicken with pear and blue cheese salad.
