What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Being at the epicentre of the most intense drinking session or walking by the sea hand in hand with the one I love.

Jack Charlton.

Which living person do you most admire?

Greg Cartwright [Oblivians, Compulsive Gamblers, Reigning Sound].

I’m getting a little bit flaky with age.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I’m a hoor for Fabergé Eggs and prostitutes..not always in that order. But usually.

What is your favourite journey?

Dublin to Holyhead on the ferry. Some interesting people travel on the ferries. You could write a book about it.

On what occasion do you lie?

When the truth is simply not worth telling.

Which living person do you most despise?

Easy...Margaret Thatcher. There will be a session in my gaf when she finally sheds her mortal coil.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

Bread.

When and where were you happiest?

I’m very lucky to have a lot of people and things in my life that keep me really happy but if pressed I’d have to say during Italia 90.

Which talent would you most like to have?

To play the piano really well or to be an expert equestrian.

What is your current state of mind?

Hungover.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Getting married.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

Diego Maradona.

What is your most treasured possession?

I don’t have much treasured possessions, maybe my denim jacket that I’ve had for 13 years.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

The feeling of letting down somebody who loves or believes in you.

What is your favourite occupation?

Laughing.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

A big penis.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

As above.

Enid Blyton and Aleister Crowley.

What is your motto?

Mick...I think ya might have to do that second run after all.
