Online payroll course with GRETB Training Centre starting soon

GRETB Training Centre will be running a fully-funded (free of charge ) manual and computerised payroll award course starting November 21 for eight weeks. This is a full-time, fully online course with live tutor-led training sessions held daily (Monday to Friday ). The live, online training sessions will be delivered via Zoom. Assistance will be offered to learners who are not familiar with using Zoom, to get them up and running for the online training sessions.

This Pitman-accredited payroll award course will help you gain knowledge, skills, and competence in the following:

Payroll - manual and computerised: How to process payroll both manually and using Sage Micropay, a common office payroll system used by many businesses in Ireland.

Excel - spreadsheets: Learn the features and functions of Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets ) and gain a good all-round understanding of the programme.

Excel expert: Advance your understanding of Microsoft Excel to an expert level.

HR essentials: Learn essential knowledge in areas such as recruiting new staff, employment contracts, salary processing, maternity rights, and staff performance appraisals.

Pitman certification achievable on this course includes:

· Pitman Payroll Award Manual and Computerised - 205.

· Pitman Excel Expert Award - PT-EEX.

· Pitman HR Essentials Award - PT-HREs.

· Pitman Excel - PT-E.

· Pitman Payroll PT-PA.

GRETB will hold an online information session on Thursday November 3 at 11am where you will have an opportunity to speak with the course tutor.
