This autumn Anam Productions have courses for aspiring actors at all levels - whether you are a beginner, would like to get some on-stage experience, or want to hone your performance skills to a fine art.
While Acting for Beginners is an introduction to the main elements of performance and focuses on gaining confidence working in a peer group setting, Anam’s Scene Study will have you performing live onstage at the Town Hall in two exciting roles as part of its Student Showcase in early December.
Anam will also have a comprehensive, university-standard course in Playwrighting. The course aims to take students through the process of completing a first draft. It takes place online and is a combination of self-study through pre-recorded videos and reading material, and weekly Zoom workshops for group discussion and feedback. Each student also receives an individual in-depth feedback session on submission of the draft.
All acting courses take place at the Anno Santo Hotel in Galway City, and begin in mid-September.
