Clannad bring farewell tour to Leisureland

Donegal band mark 50 years, and bring the curtain down, with a farewell world tour

CLANNAD WILL mark its 50th anniversary as a band, and bring the curtain down on an extraordinary career with a farewell world tour.

The tour will take in Leisureland, Salthill, on Saturday March 26 at 7.30pm. The Grammy and BAFTA award winning band have sold more than 15 million records worldwide, bringing Irish music and the Irish language worldwide in the process.

Fusing elements of traditional Irish music with more contemporary folk, new age, and rock, they have created a beautifully unique and ethereal sound which combines haunting melodies and mesmerising vocals to transcend time while appealing to a worldwide audience that spans generations.

This is a ‘Róisín Dubh presents…’ concert. Tickets are on sale via www.roisindubh.net, Ticketmaster.ie, and www.clannad.ie/live
