Loughrea singer to release 'Sparks Of The Divine' for forthcoming album There's A Waltz

SPARKS OF The Divine', Ultan Conlon's new single, and the first offering from his eagerly anticipated fourth studio album, There’s A Waltz, is released tomorrow, via DarkSideOut Records.

Speaking about the single, Ultan said: "'Sparks Of The Divine' is a love song dedicated to the consistency of a loving, supportive, relationship throughout the supposed drudgery of everyday life, relishing in simplicity and contentment."

The Loughrea born singer-songwriter, who came to wide attention for his single 'The Measure' and album, The Night Owl, will play The Black Gate Cultural Centre, St Francis Street, on Sunday February 16, where his set will include songs from the forthcoming There’s A Waltz.

The album was produced by acclaimed bluegrass and Grammy winner Sean Watkins (Nicklecreek ) and was recorded in LA with drummer Don Heffington (Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, Ron Sexsmith, Percy Sledge ), bassist Sebastian Steinberg (Iron and Wine, Neil Diamond, Neil Finn, kd lang ), Gabe Witcher (Paul Simon, Beck ), and Nicklecreek and I'm With Her's Sara Watkinson backing vocals.
