The very best of Irish stand up comedy to the stage to launch Rough Set Ireland 2019!

Comedians Francis Cronin, Joe Rooney, Karl Spain & a very special celebrity guest will bring the very best of Irish stand-up comedy to the stage to launch Rough Set Ireland 2019, at the legendary Roísín Dubh.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to The Simon Communities of Ireland to help the homeless.

After this show Francis will walk through the night in the direction of Dublin, armed with nothing but a tiny backpack, a waterproof sleeping-bag and a cell phone, ex-Irish army officer, United Nations Quick Reaction Forces soldier turned standup comedian Francis Cronin must cover the 150ish miles from Salthill, Galway to Dublin’s 40Foot on foot over the freezing cold holiday season, performing live standup comedy and storytelling along the way, all while sleeping out rough under the stars to raise money for the Simon Community.

Will Francis make it home alive for Christmas dinner?

After a quick dip at Blackrock Diving boards on the 18th of December, everyone will gather for the first Rough Set Ireland comedy show at Róisín Dubh in Galway at 8pm
