ON BANK Holiday Sunday, October 27, in the Clayton Hotel, nine acts will take to the stage to emulate their idols and perform a range of crowd pleasing songs to raise funds for the Galway Autism Partnership.
Galway's self-proclaimed 'fattest' drag queen, Dixie, will host the night while trying to keep the three judges under control. Sean Rowland, Roisin Egerton Lawless, and Kiki St Clair will be looking on and giving their opinions on each performance and, along with the audience, choosing who will be crowned the winners.
The acts have been rehearsing for weeks under the tutelage of AIMS nominated choreographer Jay Molyneaux; have had their costumes fitted by Creative Scene Productions; and are almost ready to take to the stage to Lipsync for their lives. There will also be a special appearance by the Tribetones.
Tickets are €15 and are selling fast. They are available via www.galwayautismpartnership.com or via the GAP Office (091 - 588899 ).
