AARON HURLEY of Phantom Dog Beneath The Moon, and Aaron Coyle of Yawning Chasm, are joining forces for a gig in the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh on Monday December 2 at 8.30pm.

The pair will perform as their new, collaborative project, Cosmic Leaf, playing free form improv via electric guitar and electric tenor guitar. "We're both self taught musicians," explains Aaron Coyne. In Cosmic Leaf we approach our instruments with a naïvety almost as if seeing them for the first time, making music like a newborn makes its first faltering sounds to the world."

Both will also play solo slots. A Ghostly Lunar is Hurley's spectral-folk project (debut album out next year ), while Coyne will play under his long established moniker Yawning Chasm, playing indie singer-songwriter material.

Admission is €5.
