Karl Spain to host Stand Up And Be Funny

THE WEST of Ireland heat of Stand Up and Be Funny, the new comedy talent competition from RTÉ's Ray D’Arcy, comes to the Róisín Dubh on Thursday November 28 at 8pm.

Recently on The Ray D’Arcy Show, Ray asked you whether or not you think you have what it takes to become Ireland's next big comedian? Applications have since closed, but speaking of the reaction, Ray said: "We've been flabbergasted by the response. I think we've really hit on a whole new crop of comedians, and we look forward to seeing some of them be stars of the future.”

The Róisín Dubh heat will feature seven contestants and be hosted by Karl Spain. Admission is free. The is on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ 1 on Saturday December 7.
