Hurling supporters’ golf outing

The Galway Hurling Supporters’ Club is hosting its annual golf outing on Friday July 6 in the Galway Golf Club.  The club has reduced the cost of a team to €200 or €50 per player (team of four, any combination), but has maintained a bumper number of prizes and goodies, that include All Ireland tickets, free flights from Aer Lingus, and many more. Galway kickboxing club world champion Brian Brosnan overcame previously unbeaten French fighter Oliver Larrigue at a special fight night promoted by both Corrib Kickboxing Club and Castlegar Mui Thai.

Brosnan beat his French opponent with ease, after giving him two standing eight-counts in the first main event of the evening.
